Three school buses on a hillside above the Guanacaste valley, rebuilt by hand into private tiny homes. Here is what to expect.
Everything you need, nothing extra.
Each bus is a complete tiny home, and every piece of furniture in it was made by hand in the woodshop next door.

Bring the group
Take the whole hillside.
All three buses, both plunge pools and the sunset deck, for up to seven people. Friend trips, family reunions, small retreats and celebrations. Nobody else on the property.
Everything here was made by hand, next door.
The buses, the beds, the desk facing the valley: all built in the woodshop by the parking area by an industrial designer trained in New York and Italy. Guanacaste hardwood, timber ceilings, nothing off a shelf. Ask to see the shop when you book.

Couples escape
Book Bus 2 or Bus 3 for a plunge pool of your own. Bring swimwear for a sunset swim, a good book and something to toast with. The pool is lit at night.
Work from the valley
Fibre Wi-Fi and a hardwood desk facing the view. Bring a mobile hotspot as backup for important calls, and keep the sunset hour free.
The halfway stop
Right between Liberia airport and La Fortuna. Stock up on groceries on the way in and check in any time after 2:00 PM. Most guests wish they had booked two nights.
Before you come
What if it rains?
You are high on a hillside, so weather comes through fast, and some days bring wind and rain. The buses are insulated, the kitchens are full, and the view in the rain is its own thing. Plan one slow day and you will not mind.
Can I work from here?
Yes. Each bus has fibre Wi-Fi and a desk facing the valley, and guests regularly work full weeks from here. Mountain weather can slow the connection, so if a call cannot drop, bring a mobile hotspot as backup.
Can I bring children or pets?
Bus 1 sleeps three and welcomes one dog. Buses 2 and 3 sleep two and are for adults: the depth of the plunge pools and the original bus stairs make them a poor fit for young children and pets.
Will there be insects?
You are in the middle of a valley, so nature turns up. Every opening has screens and bug spray is provided, but the occasional curious insect is part of the deal.
Will I hear the woodshop?
It sits by the parking area. You may hear light activity during the day. It is kept to a minimum and the buses are well insulated.
